USPS Horrors

Hello friends!!! Today I’m in a crappy mood and need to rant. I know, I know when do women not want to rant and nag? But ladies know who can handle child birth all naturale!? Hoorah! Just kidding I’m not sexist or any kind of hater. I love everyone’s face, thinks everyone should be nudist and think the world should be ‘World Peace’. There I go off subject again but World Peace and United States Post office can be similar. So because I have some chronic illnesses (besides being wierd) and am a devout bookworm I recieve books and all my household items via the internet because (“Praise the Lord”) its better than Wal-Mart and that’s a whole new rant there. So anywho… my packages have been mysteriously going missing through the parcel system and when I call the post office they blame me or say pretty much shit happens. Well shit… this shit has happened 4 times in the last month. I get notification that my package is on my porch so I go to said porch and it’s not there. I even stalk down the street making sure no crackheads stole my dogs biscuits and my precious beloved books😢😢😢 No crackheads in sight and my dog has crackhead or any other person radar so she would have barked. This particular incident was on Sunday and I called a damn recording because nobody talks to real people these days. I’m getting pumped and I’m thinking maybe it was a mistake again and they can fix it. Total wait time 45 minutes! Well, I don’t care this is not just about the milkbones my books lives are at stake. So put on hold until that time is up and a machine clicks on and says they are closed for the day and disconnects…. Wait, what?! You people made me wait on the phone for 45 minutes just to hang up on me! So I try my best to keep my tits calm and Monday I waited like a crazy person and I caught the mail lady and she says you will have to speak to the person who ran the mail that day maybe she put it somewhere else😯😯 What where? *Looks under cars and checks the trees*. So today after sending all those messages and all the other craziness I take my sick behind to the post office still being nice and this lady decides to be a big turd. Shes like you will have to talk to that person and I ask how and she says the mail didnt even run on Sunday we don’t know where your shit is. But I have proof and they have it in their system it was delivered Sunday! She proceeds to tell me in a rude voice “lady maybe you should watch your mailbox better!” Ohhh hellll naaaaahhh… My inner craziness starts to stir… She tells me someone will look into it and call me today of course that didn’t happen. But I am proud of myself that I still kept my tits calm through all this… but, but my books……😭 Has anyone else dealt with the horror of the USPS system? Sorry for my rant but books are our babies and this dreaded system lost them four times in the last month…😭📚

  1. Oh God! USPS is the WORST! I just had to contact a publisher who sent me a book to read/review, but it never got here. They sent a second copy via UPS. When we first got married over twenty years ago, our mail usually was delivered around 10:00 am. Over the years it’s gotten later and later. Now it generally arrives somewhere between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. What makes it even worse is that we’ve seen our postman on numerous occasions, parked down the street in a school parking lot taking a nap. WTH?!😒😒😒😒😒

  2. I don’t even want to get started on USPS, let’s just say I feel your pain when dealing with them. 😦 It’s also quite sad that years ago the postmen used to be so friendly and nice, don’t know where and when that went out the door but it definitely has.

      • You are welcome! It took me off guard when someone first tagged me too! Basically, you tag someone with a certain theme or topic and the rules/questions will be in the post. You just make your own post and answer the prompt basically and tag more people when you are done(:

Your post office is terrible if it happens that often!! You’re poor books!
