One girl runs for her life unfortunately one is left behind to face her demented captors.What the Quinn’s were left with was lost and agony. The family is broken and torn apart.

Twenty right years after this tragic incident, Charlotte Quinn has chased the same career as her father by becoming a lawyer herself. Charlotte is separated and still battling her emotional pain and it has affected her marriage. Being lonely Charlie has a one night stand and ends up with the guy’s phone. So they arrange for her to come to his work at the high school to switch phones. When Charlotte arrives at the school she witnesses a horrible tragedy and brutality of the police force. Will Charlotte be able to handle this trauma, face her husband who is a prosecutor and deal with issues from her past? Read this razor sharp thriller to find out.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars! I absolutely love all of Karin Slaughter’s work. The Good Daughter will have you on the edge of your seat turning pages as fast as you can. The plot was super intense. Ms. Slaughter’s books have a way of going to the darkest places of your mind. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good thriller. This book will take you on so many twist and turns. The Good Daughter will get in your head and surprise you in the end!

    • It is tragic but its also empowering in a way. Slaughter’s books are super intense psychological thrillers. Some people can’t handle the intensity even I have to take a break from her work when I’m down in the dumps because her thrillers will take you on a razor sharp ride! Thanks for the feedback!
