*Review: Sweet Tea and Spirits by Angie Fox~5 Stars*

I want to give a huge thank you to NetGalley and Season Publishing for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Synopsis: Verity is a good ole’ southern girl that just happens to be a ghost hunter. Verity has had a very difficult year and hard time trying to make ends meet. She goes on adventures with her sidekick Frankie, the ghost and has a pet skunk named Lucy. Verity recieves an anonymous phone call telling her that there has been a murder at Sugarland Heritage Society. Verity’s main squeeze, Officer Ellis Wydell, gets a report of there being a disturbance at the exact same location. Surprinsingly, when Officer Wydell arrives at the scene he finds no dead body or break in has occured, yet… Verity has to deal with the uppidity “it” girls of town and later happens to find the real dead body. Will Verity make ends meet? Will Verity survive her romance, even though Ellis is brothers with her ex? Will Verity and wild ghost Frankie solve this case? Read Sweet Tea and Spirits by Angie Fox to find out!

Review: I give this book 5 out of 5 stars! I loved how it was a light paranormal with sweet southern charm. As being a South Carolinian I love some southern charm.😁 I absolutely loved this book. This book was hilarious, sweet and mysterious. I was turning pages late through the night and wanting more. I read this book as a standalone but I will definitely be going back to read the previous books. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a hilarious cozy mystery! Hope everyone has a fantastic day y’all!

  1. At first glance I thought this was a book I have for review but then saw the cover and nope, definitely not. Went to look and I have Sweet Tea and Sympathy, pretty close but darn I was excited when I saw 5 stars but hopefully mine will be a 5 too. This one looks really cute though, nice review on it. 🙂

          • I may pick that one up when I get a few off my shelf if it’s still available. I’m auto-approved from Kensington so it was on my radar so it’s good to hear you’re enjoying it. 🙂

            • Oh I LOVE it!!! But maybe just my preference but I dont want to stop! I hope they continue it as a series because its one of my favorites. It talks a lot about the love of books and shes a damaged bilbliotherapist. I love it and can relate to everything. She just brought up adding to her everlasting TBR. And used the abbreviations as well. Its just one of those books for me that warm my heart;)

            • Oh I believe you that it’s probably pretty good, I usually love anything I pick up from Kensington and it just looked like it would be a great cozy. Glad you’re enjoying it but with each great one you read it becomes that much harder not to click away looking for another. LOL

            • Here’s some good news, the more reviews you turn in the more books you can have on your shelf and stay about 80%. 🙂

            • It’s going to take me a while but I am going to keep up on my reading marathon when I can! I was happy that my first three reviews it put me as top reviewer and I did get approved for a good bit but some of them they want me to wait for a certain time and it’s not until February. I’m always so tempted to request more. *eye twitching* I can understand the NetGalley addiction. I hope you’re enjoying some Goodreads my friend! Thanks for all your support and feedback!

            • It’s always a balancing act on whether you should request or not when you have some already. Sometimes requests will just sit pending for weeks or even months so if you are getting caught up it’s hard to know how many to click to keep yourself a steady flow to read but not go too far overboard that you can’t get them done.
