WELCOME TO ALPHAVILLE, where the she-wolves and alpha-males play. . .for keeps.

Renny Landry is a wolf on the run. Pursued by a shapeshifting stalker and his slobbering pack of killer coyotes, she is forced to flee her job as a librarian to find sanctuary in the wooded hills of Alpha, Washington. A well-secluded safe space for troubled shifters, Alpha is Renny’s last hope. But the first person she meets there is a gorgeous alpha male with fiery eyes, fierce tattoos, and one ferocious appetite—for her…

Mick Fischer thought he left his past behind when he moved to Alpha. But fate has a way of biting him in the tail when a female wolf shows up on his property. Wounded, desperate—and disarmingly hot—Renny brings out the snarling, protective alpha beast in Mick like no other woman he’s known. Can these two haunted, hunted wolves manage to mate for life…even as the deadliest past demons howl at their heels?

I picked up Baby, I am Howling for You by Christine Warren after reading Carrie @ Carrie’s Book Reviews review of the prequel novella for this series! Once that I saw that Carrie gave a fantastic rating for a novella I knew this series was worth checking out! This novel grabbed my attention from the start! I have not read much werewolf/shifter novels but after reading this one, I am definitely reading more! I also will be following this series and wanting to get my hands on the novella as well!😍

The characters in this story were great! I loved Renny and her strength. I found the characters relatable. This story was filled with action, adventure, suspense and some steaminess that will definitely heat you up this winter!

  1. Werewolves and shape shifters is a genre? I am obviously living far too quiet a life. Mind you, I would like to be a shape shifter, the possibilities of that seem interesting. Actually, I am able to shift my shape. By eating too many pizzas, and drinking too much red wine, I have managed to shift my shape from ‘average’ to ‘chubby’. And not a werewolf in sight! 🙂 🙂 x
    Best wishes, Pete. x

    • Hahahaha🤣 If only I could shift my shape from fluffy to skinny, that would be AWESOME! Without all the hard work!😓 Actually I don’t think I meant to write genre Pete! Lol. They are more like a sub category for the Paranormal genre! Special me, trying to turn in all these reviews on time and not proof reading!😨

  2. The novella was really a hoot when it got into their human nature arguing with the beast inside over the whole mating thing, great combo of fun but still steamy when it wanted to be. 🙂

  3. There are so many books about werewolves these days! It keeps amazing me how popular this genre is! I haven’t read many books in this genre either, but I like how this book sounds as if it doing something else by adding shapeshifters to the mix as well. Another great review Dani 😘😘❤️❤️
