*~Mini Book Reviews: Catching Up On Book Reviews Part 2~ All 5 Stars~*

Hello my fellow book enthusiasts!😍 This is the second part of the mini book reviews series that I started last week to try and catch up on some reviews. I have been having a rough few months so have been stuck in bed with nothing else really to do besides my favorite thing, READ!!!! I have to admit though, I read a good bit of novels and neglected reviewing them right away because of LIFE. So I bring you part 2 in my mini book review series! Woot! Woot! Being stuck at home has it’s perks because of how much you get to read! Yay! *happy dancing for reading* I am doing better though guys slowly but surely! I’m sorry if I am still late on commenting or replying. I have unfortunately been having technical difficulties and no internet!😱😱 *Crosses fingers it will be fixed in the next day* Love ya guys and giving you bear hugs and fist bumps!😄

Well that’s not necessarily a bad thing. When I am not reading I am tending to my children which luckily I have had a lot of help with lately. The last few days I have been even more busy taking care of my kiddos because the horrible flu that’s been going around struck out house with a vengeance! Snotty board kids and buckets beside beds galore. I know that’s a bad image. *think happy thoughts* Anyways I wanted to share the second part of these great books I have read I’ve the last few months! Just because my reviews are quick and too the point doesn’t mean I didn’t LOVE them!😍

Review: Once again, Christi Snow created the perfect romance that is sure to warm your heart! As soon as I saw a Christi Snow title on NetGalley, I had to request it! Christi creates beautiful novels that have such beautiful diversity and spread a message that “Love is Love”. I really enjoyed that the author writes novels about romances that aren’t typical and Found at the Jazz Club was a great edition to her collection of novels. I loved the characters and felt the age difference made it more unique and special. Highly recommended to romance lovers who want a taste of something different!

Review: Wow, what a thrilling novel! This book was a terrific page turner, that shouldn’t be missed! I really enjoyed the characters, the fast paced plot, and the setting! I was first intrigued by this novel when I saw the word “Savannah”. I always love reading books that are based in the South and I live only an hour away from Savannah. What made me love this book the most was the killer suspense and intensity!

Review: Wow, what a story that touched my heart and broke it at the same time! This book is beautifully written and discusses issues that are normally not discussed involving athletes and the physical effects it can have on them with being oushed forward. This book was hard to digest at times but truly worth the read!

Review: This was an epic read with fantastic characters! The children charaters really spoke to my heart and I felt a connection with them. I could relate to the dysfunction and awful things that occurred in this book. This story wasn’t just heartbreaking, it was also powerful and a must read! This was a beautifully written story that I won’t soon forget.

Review: Wow, this book was utterly amazing. My heart went from being broken to hopeful while reading this story. As a woman that has suffered multiple miscarriages including a late one at 18 weeks this story tugged at my soul and broke my heart but it beautifully put the pieces back together again.

Review: Wow, what a debut! The author drew me in this story immediately and never let up. The descriptions of the criminal aspects and addiction were fantastic. As seeing part of that world before I thought the author did a great job of depicting the world of streets and criminals. This was a fast paced novel with terrific characters that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Synopsis: Juliet Milagros Palante is leaving the Bronx and headed to Portland, Oregon. She just came out to her family and isn’t sure if her mom will ever speak to her again. But Juliet has a plan, sort of, one that’s going to help her figure out this whole “Puerto Rican lesbian” thing. She’s interning with the author of her favorite book: Harlowe Brisbane, the ultimate authority on feminism, women’s bodies, and other gay-sounding stuff.

Will Juliet be able to figure out her life over the course of one magical summer? Is that even possible? Or is she running away from all the problems that seem too big to handle?

With more questions than answers, Juliet takes on Portland, Harlowe, and most importantly, herself.

Review: This is such an important and fantastic novel. I devoured this novel in a few sittings and this one that will surely stick with you go a while. This is more than a story about being a lesbian and a feminist, this is a story about being true to yourself!
