A Book Review Buffet, All You Can Read! Part 2

Hello all my awesome friends!!! I am hoping that this is my official return! Yay! I was without connection to the internet, have been in the hospital, faced eviction but overall I am still standing!!! Hells to the yeah. I have received so much support this last week in the half from the blogosphere that I have been over flooded with love and emotion. I never thought it was possible that the people that stood by my side through my rough area was the ones through this community. Not that I didn’t think you were amazing, I just felt that maybe everyone was just this awesome to everyone and I felt like an outsider in the blogosphere. I think that my life experiences and how overwhelmed I became was all worth it. I am still struggling but because of everyone who supported me in the blogosphere, I have received some more time and I am going to keep my best. But Folks, I am definitely not trying to be a Debbie Downer! Throughout all the mess I have been going through, I realized how important the blogosphere and other parts of the book community are me to me. I have hope and I am *happy dancing* again! And surprisingly, you guys still like me??? Whatever I did to have the most amazing friends and followers on the blogosphere (I may be a bit biased though)  and that makes me the happiest girl in the world!! Woot, Woot! Okay enough about my crazy ass me, let’s get to my buffet of reviews! I will warn you I am way overdue on my reviews so if you see a few of these posts you know why! I highly enjoyed this fun and southern novella! This was a quick read that I devoured easily in sitting and was desperate for the next in the series to get some answers and it was based off my fave, Frankie McCready! From reading the first book in the series, I really enjoyed Frankie’s character. Frankie is a bit of a misfit and always is rocking some wild fashion statement. She’s a southern rock chick which I can totally relate to that. I can also relate to the fact that she battled something harsh like cancer and still has to deal with people treating her a certain way or not understanding because she was sick a lot. She is also just so freaking hilarious! I love it!
The reason I am not giving this a novella a five star rating is because it just left too much hanging like I don’t even know if you would call it any cliff hangers. I am hoping though that it will all make sense in the next book but overall this was a highly enjoyable read with the unusual McCready southern charm that I never want to miss out on!

Wow,  this book was freakin’ hilarious and just fantastic all around!❤📚 I have to admit I pretty much read this book twice even though I have other ARCs I need to finish but in my defense it only took two days! 😀This is one of those stories you can just laugh out loud to and the main character is just freakin’ awesome!  I just needed this story to cheer me up!😊 Poppy is a plus size woman who is trying to get over her grief of becoming a widow and as the story plays out I love watching how she learns to break away from her grief and during her despair she is just freaking hilarious and so realistic. She is such a lovable hot mess that is incredibly relatable. I adored how honest and humorous Poppy was and even though I thought she was a walking disaster at times(which I can relate to 😉), she is the kind of girl you would want to hang out with!

 I loved Aunt Ginny as well. Eccentric old ladies are the bee’s knees! When I become a senior citizen I am going tho be eccentric plus more! I mean, why not? You can totally get away with it. You might as well give people the ‘Wtf face’*cough, cough* I already do that and of course I wouldn’t have a filter like Aunt Ginny doesn’t.

Sighs,  one day my dream will come true. I dream of partying like a rock star and then racing my wheel chair. Anyways back to the book, this book even shares the message that we should not be afraid to be who we are and the main character’s personalities are a testament to that and I loved every bit of it.
  The plot was at a great pace and it made you want to flip pages like a ninja. The supporting characters were great too and this book was definitely worth the hype! I just can’t wait until the sequel comes out! I can’t recommend this book enough to anyone who loves a great cozy mystery that will make you laugh out loud! Hands down, a 5 star must read!😊❤📚💯

I highly enjoyed this book and am so thankful that I got the experience to read this self help novel! It’s more of a badass self help book that will help you get all that shit done like the title implies! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a chance to get to be happy!💜 I loved traveling in this novel and along with all these adventures you are given a sense of peace. A Must Read Self Help Book!💚💜📚💯

I really enjoyed this novel and it definitely was one of a kind! I picked up this novel because I worked in a Chinese restaurant for about five years before I became disabled and I became very close to my bosses and was even manager at the end. The reason I bring this up is because not only could I relate to this novel by knowing the ins and outs of working in a Chinese restaurant, I could relate to being around Asian cultures and how they talk. All of the things Lana was told I have been told by my employers. All the funny traits and cultural things just really made me laugh and just think of the good times at my work. I worked 70 hours a week though there had to be some good times or there were no times!
Also another fun fact is that I am actually mixed racial like the main character and my mom is Filipino so I have also felt I could relate to some things family life as well! But enough about me back to the book!
This story was funny and I think turned out pretty great for a debut. I loved all the characters besides every once in awhile the MC got on my nerves a little bit. The plot was steady paced but had a couple of short dull moments but I think it was because of the author establishing a solid background for the series. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to the next one and hope it grows even more as it moves along!
