  1. My library did this around Valentine’s day and it was a really cool idea.
They were wrapped in wrapping paper and it was fun to see what book you got.
Unfortunately, I’d already read the book that I had picked (Fuzzy Mud, which is a great book).

  2. Ooh! I did this a couple of times for Valentine’s Day too! Even though I was a children’s librarian, I took on purchasing for our adult paperback collection. I had so much fun! I was always trying to come up with cool displays. Drat. Have I mentioned how much I miss my job?😞

        1. Well that would definitley make things not as great as it could be😒 It sucks when a crappy person ruins such a great environment for everyone else!

          1. Yep. I went from a psychotic mother to a whacked out boss. I’ve decided I have bad karma because I was a serial killer in my previous life!😞

            1. No that’s not true darlin!!! I think the same thing I look at my traumatic life and think when am I ever going to see the good? I also never understood that I give to others more than myself. I’ve given 90 percent of my income before to people without and different causes but would continuously screwed over and would suffer. I try to think now that I’m blessed my children are healthy and maybe God has been helping me get stronger and my reward is yet to come!πŸ˜—
