Because this day just couldn’t possibly SUCK any more (sorry for that slip of anger), rock icon, Tom Petty has died. His music was a big part of childhood and teen years, and followed me into adulthood. All I can say is he will be truly missed.

Music is probably the only real magic I have encountered in my life. There’s not some trick involved with it. It’s pure and it’s real. It moves and it heals, it communicates and does all these incredible things.

    1. I know!!! Some of my greatest childhood memories are of my sister, my brother and I singing free fallin’ I always lobed his music.

  2. He truly expressed the soul in words. My generation is passing before my eyes. Tom Petty was one of the best. It was good to be king, if just for a while.
