I am reviewing this simply because I want to spread the word on how amazing this book was! I was first intrigued by Didi’s work by reading her blog and reading her book The Suspenseful Collection Volume 1 that she collaborated with Kim Knight. Summary: Autumn is still traumatized by the sudden disappearance of her niece Maylee. After 3 years Autumn has never lost hope that Maylee could still be alive even with the lead detective Chance says there is no more that can be done. Okay, first off I got to say WOW!!! I give this book 5+ stars out of 5! This is one of best books I have read if not the best. I really enjoy cold case stories and the process of how it’s solved. This book had me turning pages like crazy I finished it in less than 2 days!!! It would have been one day if I didn’t have technical difficulties with my kindle.😒 Search for Maylee made me smile😊, touched my heart😍, made the hairs on the back of my neck stick up😮 and made me cry😢. The author was so great at expressing Autumn’s emotions📝. I felt like I was living her emotions and feeling her anxiety. I felt Autumn’s love. There was romance, mystery and suspense in this book. The ending broke my heart in more ways than one. All I can say Didi keep the books coming, I would follow you anywhere!!!
