I want to thank NetGalley and The Wild Rose Press Inc. for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. I appreciate this opportunity.

Synopsis: Rookie Detective and bar owner Izzy O’Donnell is on course with an investigation with a serial killer who is leaving Bible verses wrapped around body parts of the murdered women. Izzzy has the help of this task with her partners Moreno and Cal. Moreno is ambiguous and her dad’s former partner Cal is crabby as hell.

Izzy feels out of sorts because of some unexplained dreams that she has been having and they push her harder to crack down on the case. Along with her partners, Izzy has her sidekick Apple Macintosh that carries a “telepathic” rabbit(Norman) whom has the supposed secret ability of smelling the victims on Izzy. To say the least Apple is a special person and carries the special rabbit around in a baby sling.

With being a rookie, being a co-owner of a bar with her dad, and having these off the wall partners it really makes you wonder, can Izzy catch this serial killer?

Review: I rate this book 5 out of 5 fantabulous stars! I really loved this book! Izzy was a great main character! She was determined and absolutely hilarious! I couldn’t stop laughing at her and her crew at some points in the book! I loved the characterization and thought the mystery was great too. I loved the suspense and I would definitely recommend this book to all!

Hope everyone has a great day!!!!!
