        Whenever I had an anxious parent come into the library with a child who was a reluctant reader, the first thing I’d say is “We just haven’t found the right book yet!”

          I agree completely. I think it’s great the work James Patterson does for kids and getting them into reading. I believe anyone can be a reader just have to find the right book! That’s awesome that you shared this with the parents, that’s very comforting to hear as a parent. My daughter loves to read but my son battles it because of his ADHD so he has a hard time concentrating. I might have to look into tutoring or reading groups at the community library to get him more involved!

            I’m not quite the fan of his writing as I used to be, but there’s no denying the wonderful things he’s done with kids and reading.

            Ooh! In my experience book groups can do wonders for kids with ADHD! Also, one on one reading at bedtime.☺️
