**Review: Cold Blood(Erika Foster 5) by Robert Bryndza ~5 Stars**

I want to give a huge thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Synopsis:  On the banks of the Thames there is a washed up mysterious suitcase and DCI Erika is called in to evaluate the suitcase. Erika is shocked to find that a dead body is not only in the suitcase but the body is chopped up into small pieces to be made to fit in to the suitcase. Erika rallies up a team to start off the investigation but to everyone’s horror another suitcase is washed up. In this suitcase a young woman is found also in small pieces and everyone is freaked out about the fact there could be a serial killer on the loose! Could this be the work of a sick serial killer? Could this be drug related? Can Erika battle her demons and solve these murders? Read this enthralling thriller to find out!

Review: I found this book extremely suspenseful and chilling! I read this book as a standalone because on Goodreads I saw that the author said it could be read as a standalone. This book had me on the edge of my seat with its unique and chilling suspense. I thought this was a great crime detective book and I want to read its previous books to fill in the characters’s stories. I recommend this book and series to anyone who likes a good page turning thriller! I might have some bad dreams with this one! Highly recommended!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!!!

      1. Yes, I imagine some of the details of their personal lives wouldn’t make much sense jumping in but at least the case completely solved in one book.

  7. Great review! Glad you enjoyed this book! I read the author’s previous book and it was good too. It’s better to read from book 1 though so you could get to know the detectives from beginning to end. But I’m glad each book has its own beginning and ending so it could be read as a standalone 😊

    1. Thanks so much for the feedback Jasmine! I agree it would have been better from the beginning but I was a newbie on NetGalley so I didn’t check if it was in a series. Thanks again!💖📚

      1. Yeah, I noticed that too.. not sure why it doesn’t label on the title what book number it is. It would’ve been helpful. I make that mistake a few times haha.. requesting some books to only later realized it’s book 2 or 3 of the series.. haha..
