*~Does anyone use Litsy?

Hello lovelies! I was browsing instagram and saw a fellow blogger post about Litsy. As I’ve read it’s supposedly is like a good mix of Goodreads, Twitter and Instagram. It’s a place where you can disover new books and book lovers! Sounds like my kind of place but wanted to see if anyone uses it or care share their experience with it? Let me know my fellow book nerdigans! You guys rock!

    I joined Litsy a few months ago and it’s quite a fun app with a very friendly community! Much lower pressure than bookstagram with the photo quality and all and a fun place to share bookish thoughts and other things… It doesn’t replace Twitter or Instagram for me, but it is a nice addition (although I admit I don’t always post all that regularly).

        I’ll look for you on litsy! I joined Bookstagram in January and I really love the community despite the fact my photos aren’t all that special… Kind of decided to do my own thing and not try to hard and it’s definitely more fun that way. 😁

    Its really good! You should try it😀. There are not just reviews but n number of blurbs on a whole world of books which we have no idea about. I especially use it if I need new book suggestions. 😃

      Yeah it does! 😊 I just found out about it and was like damn where have I been but to be honest. I just started blogging a little over two months ago and just joined Goodreads in February. I’m so late for the cool stuff!😞

        Yep, that’s me. Everyone else was on FB for years before I caved in and then a friend dragged me onto Goodreads a couple years ago so you do have me beat on that one. LOL

            I always think of it as just making sure things aren’t a quick fad that will go away… You can’t imagine how long it took me to switch to CDs back in the day from cassettes. LOL

              They still are our babies even when they get huge and grown! That’s awesome though didn’t know you were mama but I never asked lol. Girl I have three kids! Zoey 9, Gabriel 6 and Vincent 21 months!😱😱😱

              Yeah, same here… I usually curl up with my Kindle and do that “one more chapter” way too long but I just toss and turn if I put it down most times anyway.

              Also Carrie, I have a lot of chronic illnesses that have me bed ridden a lot of the time so reading has been a life saver! I am such a free spirited person and am able to still go on adventures with reading😁📚💖 I try to be there as much as possible for my kids but I have to get help from my partners. It’s been a rough road but all we can do is our best!😁

              I can sympathize quite a bit having my own share of troubles here lately. Even without them though I could never afford to run around the world the way I can just picking up the next book so I quite enjoy my virtual traveling.

              I read like crazy as a kid and teen but then stopped for years as life took over and never seemed to make time. Several years back though I started picking books back up and now it’s my go to thing to do all the time..

    I do use use it, but don’t keep up with it as much as I probably should. My only problem with it, is that they don’t have an iPad friendly version. It works fine on the iPad, but I hold my iPad on landscape view pretty much 100% of the time – and Litsy is portrait only. I’m BookCottageBlog if anyone wants to follow me. I’ll follow back.
